Their highly qualified, NATE certified technicians are dispatched in a moments notice to repair, maintain or replace parts for your HVAC system as needed. The uniformed service technicians are provided with a fully stocked truck that houses a variety of repair parts in order to minimize service calls to better accommodate their clients. The administrative database allows the office staff to create and save customers complete history of repair and installation to their HVAC equipment.

Gary Cottam
Gary Cottam practices being energy smart and environmentally conscience. He strongly believes that your home should be your comfort zone and focuses on providing efficient, indoor air quality to homeowners. Based on this belief, Mr. Cottam took his HVAC experience and put it to the test, now over 30 years later, Cottam Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. is still providing excellent customer service and innovative HVAC design and consultation to the New York City, Westchester County and lower Connecticut areas.
Gary founded Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. in 1984 after 7 years of working in the HVAC industry for a family friend. As President, co-owner, and the principal Comfort Consultant of Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., he has acquired many HVAC certifications. Believing in the power of continuing education, Gary is an active member of ACCA, RSES, ASHRAE, and his community's chapter of the NYC Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Cottam's main policy is to maintain a professional approach while showing a genuine interest in the welfare of each and every one of his customers' HVAC needs. By combining reliability, a conscientious attitude, integrity, and knowledge, Gary has always asserted that "Service is Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc.'s most important product." Further, Gary has always believed that the number one rule is to take care of the customer no matter what because if you don't, someone else will.

Lauren Fusco
Lauren joined the Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. family in the summer of 2001. As a full-time student earning her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Lauren began working part-time as an Office Assistant in the company's service department. Her attention to detail and willingness to complete any task coupled with her organizational skills have proven her a great asset to the company. Through the years, Lauren's abilities to problem-solve, multi-task, and accommodate others have earned her one of the most important titles in the company—Mr. Cottam's Executive Assistant. In 2009, Lauren received her Master's Degree in Public Administration, which she utilized to implement several of Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc.'s managerial reports.
Heather Happ
Heather started with Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. in 2007 as a Service Dispatcher. Now, while still working in the service department, she wears a number of hats and administratively assists an office staff of over six people in addition to overseeing the company's current Service Dispatcher. Because of her past marketing experience Heather also assists Mrs. Cottam with the development of marketing and advertising campaigns. Her desire to satisfy every customer is apparent in her willingness to go the extra mile to ensure the job is done right, whether it's tracking down parts or rearranging the schedule with only a moment's notice. With over 5,000 residential and commercial customers, knowing what it takes to keep them satisfied is undoubtedly one of Heather's strengths. In addition to her keen customer service skills, Heather is also responsible for promoting "Green" maintenance agreements.
Vicki Cottam
As Vice President of Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., Vicki oversees all day-to-day operations of the company and manages the entire administrative staff. Bringing with her over 15 years of experience as an Office Manager and Accountant Vicki quickly became an asset to Gary's newly-conceptualized HVAC business in 1984. Together, they shared the same vision and grew Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. into the thriving and successful business it is today. With now over 20 years of experience working in the HVAC industry, Vicki's strength comes in her ability to know exactly how to get any job done, big or small.
Michael Jawski, Jr.
Michael joined the Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. staff in 1998. Originally hired as an assistant to the then-Service Manager, he quickly moved up the ladder to become Service Manager himself. His dedication and drive to satisfy all customers proved helpful as he settled into his role of Comfort Consultant all the while maintaining the position of Service Manager. Along the way, Michael has received extensive training in all aspects of heating and air conditioning. He currently holds many industry certifications, including his BPI (Building Performance Institute) certification as a building analyst and heating and air specialist. Because of his many roles here at Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., chances are if you've called our office, you've had the pleasure of speaking with Michael.
Ellen McGrath
Ellen was hired as Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc.'s Comptroller in 1999. She handles all aspects of the company's finances in addition to being in charge of payroll, and accounts' payables and receivables. Ellen brought with her over 25 years of accounting/controller experience. This experience allows Ellen to be one of the most dynamic team players on Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc.'s staff. Her ability to juggle several different tasks at once is essential to the company's daily operations. In addition to her own responsibilities Ellen also assists Vicki with her Vice Presidential duties.
Joseph Graziadio
Known as Joe G. to customers, contractors, and co-workers, Joseph came to Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. in 1996. He started out as a ductwork installer and later became the lead installation technician. After 5 years as an installer, Joe G. was promoted to Project Manager in 2001. He currently oversees all installation projects, residential and commercial. As Project Manager, Joe G. is responsible for an installation crew of over 10 HVAC installers. Other responsibilities include customer and contractor relations and daily visits to on-going jobs' sites.
Michael Douglas
A dear friend to Gary for many years, Mike has been an employee at Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. since 1994. Mike retired as a Local 28 Sheet metal Journeyman to help develop the fabrication facility housed by the company. As the company's Installation Coordinator, Mike manages the sheet metal fabrication shop. He also oversees the daily functions of three Cottam Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. employees and maintains the company's fleet. In 2010, Mike's responsibilities have expanded and he is now assisting in the preparation of bids for the estimating department.
